Bodrum Airport Flights: How to Read the Board
Milas-Bodrum Airport’s traffic changes completely with the seasons, and its domestic and international flights use separate buildings. This guide explains what you are looking at on the Bodrum flight board and what to do when the times start to slip.

Domestic or International: Which Building?
Bodrum has two separate passenger buildings about three minutes apart on foot: the domestic terminal for flights within Türkiye (Istanbul, Ankara and other cities) and the international terminal for everything else. The flight board tells you which one applies — tell your taxi or transfer driver before you set off, and if you are meeting someone, wait outside the right building.
Passport control, duty-free and the international baggage hall are only in the international terminal. If you are connecting in Istanbul on a domestic flight, you will clear immigration in Istanbul, not in Bodrum, and arrive at the domestic building. Summer Waves and Winter Quiet
From roughly May to October the international board fills with holiday flights from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe. Carriers you will typically see include easyJet, Jet2, TUI, Corendon and Condor. These flights tend to arrive in waves, with several aircraft landing close together in the morning and again later in the day — which is when passport queues and baggage belts are busiest.
In winter the picture is very different: the board is dominated by domestic services from Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, AJet and SunExpress, most of them linking Bodrum with Istanbul. If you are travelling off-season from abroad, you will almost certainly connect through Istanbul. The UK flights page lists which British airports fly direct in season.
Flights are listed under the marketing carrier — the airline code printed on your booking — even when another airline operates the aircraft. If your flight number is not where you expect, search for it rather than for the airline name.

When the Times Slip: Your Onward Journey
Delays matter most for the journey from the airport. Resorts on the Bodrum peninsula are roughly 30 to 65 km away, so the way you planned to get there decides how much a late landing costs you.
HAVAŞ coach: only two routes serve the airport — Bodrum centre (old bus station) and Güvercinlik–Torba. Services from the airport are timed around domestic arrivals, so a late-night international arrival may find no coach at all. Check the HAVAŞ schedule before relying on it.
Private transfer: give the company your flight number; drivers usually follow the arrival time rather than the timetable. Options are on the transfers page.
Your rights: on flights departing Türkiye, or operated by an EU or UK airline, long delays and cancellations can entitle you to care, rerouting or a refund, and sometimes compensation. Weather and air traffic control restrictions are generally treated as extraordinary circumstances. If your bag does not appear after landing, report it before leaving the baggage hall — see lost luggage.

Which terminal does my Bodrum flight use?
Flights within Türkiye use the domestic terminal; all other flights use the international terminal. The two buildings are about three minutes apart on foot, and the board and your booking show which applies.
How soon after landing will passengers come out?
Domestic passengers only wait for their bags, typically 15–30 minutes after touchdown. International passengers also go through passport control, which can take noticeably longer when several summer flights land together.
Are there direct flights to Bodrum in winter?
International direct flights are largely seasonal. Outside the summer season most travellers from abroad connect through Istanbul onto a domestic flight.
Why is my flight listed under another airline?
Codeshare flights are sold by one airline and operated by another. The board shows the marketing carrier, whose code is printed on your ticket.
Will the HAVAŞ coach wait if my flight is late?
HAVAŞ services from the airport are organised around domestic arrivals, and there are only two routes. Late international arrivals should not count on a coach; a pre-booked transfer or a taxi is the safer plan.
