Muttaş Bus Lines on the Bodrum Peninsula
The green-and-white municipal buses are how the peninsula actually moves. Every line starts from Bodrum bus station — and none of them goes to the airport.
Muttaş buses do not serve the airport from Bodrum. For the airport, use the HAVAŞ coach from the bus station or a pre-booked transfer. Muttaş information: 444 4801.

What the Buses Are Like
Muttaş is the public transport arm of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality. The buses are green and white, air-conditioned, and the fleet includes low-floor vehicles with step-free access. Some carry USB charging points and Wi-Fi.
Small and medium suitcases are fine. Space for large cases is limited, which is the practical objection to using them straight from the airport coach — with two big cases and a pushchair, a taxi or a transfer from the terminal is a much easier journey.
The most frequent lines are Turgutreis and Yalıkavak, both every half hour. Turgutreis is worth timing around its Saturday market; Gümüşlük can also be reached by changing at Turgutreis if the direct service does not suit.
Getting to Bodrum Bus Station in the First Place
Everything on this page starts from the otogar, so from the airport your first move is the HAVAŞ coach, which terminates there after about 35 minutes for 230 TL. From that one point the whole peninsula opens up.
The bus station is a kilometre from the town centre, on Cevat Şakir Caddesi, and has ticket offices, a waiting hall, a Muğla Card sales point, ATMs, a taxi rank and left luggage. See the bus station guide.

Do Muttaş buses go to Bodrum Airport?
Not from Bodrum. Use the HAVAŞ coach from the bus station for the airport instead. There is a separate Muttaş route, 48-22, that runs to the airport from Muğla Menteşe bus station.
