Which Terminal?
The domestic terminal (21,500 m²) handles flights within Turkey — Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, AJet and SunExpress — with 23 check-in desks and 6 gates. The international terminal (38,000 m²) handles everything from abroad, with 48 check-in desks, 10 gates (4 with jet bridges) and passport control with e-gates alongside manual booths.
The two terminals sit next to each other, so a mistake costs a short walk rather than a journey. Your terminal is printed on your booking and shown on the departure screens.

How Early Should You Arrive?
Allow 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours for international departures. In July and August, when several UK and German flights leave close together, the international check-in and security queues genuinely need that margin.
If you have checked in online and travel with cabin baggage only, you can go straight to security. With hold luggage, add the bag-drop queue — it usually closes 45–60 minutes before departure.
Passengers needing assistance should request it from their airline at least 48 hours before the flight; ramps, lifts and escort service from check-in to the aircraft are provided free of charge.
